Public Usage Limits
For public clients. Two limits apply—steady rate and short burst. Both are generous for typical use.
Ongoing request speed
You can send up to 10 requests per second on an ongoing basis. If you briefly exceed this, the system may ask you to wait before sending more.

- 10requests per second sustained
Quick spikes allowed
Over any 5-second period, you can send up to 50 requests. Great for quick bursts—e.g. 50 in one second, then a short pause. Resets after 30 seconds of no activity.

Steady rate over time
Shaded area = short burst window (0–5s). Effective limit is 10 requests/sec throughout.
